Hello and welcome to Crosthwaite tennis club! We are a small but friendly tennis club situated in the picturesque village of Crosthwaite, between Kendal and Windermere.
We offer a single outdoor, all-weather court, which was recently resurfaced in June 2023, as well as various other facilities and members events.
We welcome new members of all ages and abilities, as well as offering a “pay-and-play” option for non-members.

We offer memberships for adults and families, starting at £35 per year for an adult.
Membership provides priority court booking, pavilion and facilities access, as well as various events. Click below for more details.
Every summer there is some form of coaching (either group or individual) available to members. This is with our Level 3 LTA-approved club coach, James Wright, who has a wealth of experience coaching all levels.
Pay & Play
If you are a non-member, but would like to come and play, the court is available to book and pay for via our online booking app.
The cost is £5 per hour, and time slots for non-members are restricted to a playing time of between 7am-4pm.
Court access is managed with a padlock, and the code will be emailed to you with your booking confirmation.
